We have an exciting opportunity for individuals with a strong archaeological fieldwork management background who are looking to transition into a career in archaeological and heritage consultancy. This role is designed for rapid career development, taking your practical fieldwork expertise and using it as the basis to step into a broader consultancy role.
You will have broad archaeological fieldwork project management experience, including handling logistical management, as well as liaising with clients, LPAs, and stakeholders, to enable the delivery of successful archaeological excavations and surveys. This position will initially see you managing numerous excavations across multiple sites for one of our renewable energy Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs) in the Midlands. This will include coordinating subcontractors, liaising with the relevant LPAs, dealing with clients and landowners, and supporting the project’s strategic lead.
During this time, we will help you to develop your wider consultancy skills, providing training and opportunities to broaden your experience. This will include the production of DBAs, WSIs, and ES chapters, as well as contributing to business development across Lanpro.
The role will be based out of Lanpro’s York office but will involve travel around the UK. Therefore, a full driving licence and access to a car are essential. Full membership of CIfA is also desirable.
