Launched in 2013, WebBeds is a global marketplace for the travel trade, providing powerful distribution solutions that make selling and buying travel products easier. It sources accommodation and destination services from travel suppliers, aggregates and merchandises that content in the WebBeds platform, then distributes it to its global network of travel trade buyers, who sell to the travelling public.
WebBeds operates globally through four geographic regions – Europe, Asia Pacific, MEA (Middle East and Africa) and Americas - with over 1,900 travel professionals working in 120 cities across 50 countries worldwide.
As a Power Platform Architect, you will play a pivotal role in WebBeds' transformation initiatives by designing, building, and implementing customized solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and teams to understand business requirements, propose effective solutions, and lead the migration of existing applications to Power Platform. This role will combine your technical expertise and consultative insights to optimize operational processes, enhance automation, and support the digital evolution of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Development: Analyse business needs and architect scalable Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents) to meet specific requirements.
- Application Migration: Work on the migration of existing applications to Power Platform, ensuring seamless integration, data integrity, and process optimization.
- Project Collaboration & Client Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and demonstrate solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and adherence to project timelines.
- Documentation & Process Optimization: In partnership with the Process Reengineering lead, document process workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring clear and comprehensive instructions for operational activities. Continuously refine and optimize automated processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Data Compilation & Analysis: Compile data and collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI) teams to gather information for reporting and analysis. Utilize analytical skills to derive meaningful insights and provide data-driven recommendations for process optimization.
- Technical Support: Provide troubleshooting and technical support during the development lifecycle and after deployment, ensuring system stability and performance.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guide team members by sharing best practices in Power Platform development and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Best Practices & Innovation: Stay informed of the latest Power Platform and related technologies, recommending best practices and innovative solutions to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
