About WebBeds

Launched in 2013, WebBeds is a global marketplace for the travel trade, providing powerful distribution solutions that make selling and buying travel products easier. It sources accommodation and destination services from travel suppliers, aggregates and merchandises that content in the WebBeds platform, then distributes it to its global network of travel trade buyers, who sell to the travelling public.

Hotels and other suppliers can sell their products to a global network of online and offline travel buyers through robust solutions that provide greater inventory control to simplify distribution, and leverage WebBeds enhanced analytics to inform inventory optimisation choices – saving costs and increasing revenue.

Travel buyers can integrate the hundreds of thousands of hotels and ground services in the WebBeds marketplace through simple and seamless API connectivity, or they can search, shop and book online through one of WebBeds trade only booking sites.

WebBeds operates globally through four geographic regions – Europe, Asia Pacific, MEA (Middle East and Africa) and Americas - with over 1,900 travel professionals working in 120 cities across 50 countries worldwide.

Revenue Protection & Generation function

The Revenue Protection & Generation function within WebBeds Transformation plays a pivotal role in safeguarding and accelerating revenue growth through a combination of strategic leadership, process optimisation, and innovation.

The Head of Revenue Protection will be responsible for leading and evolving this function, shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of all revenue optimisation activities. This includes overseeing automation-led revenue protection, managing manual intervention processes, driving targeted improvement initiatives, and leading a team of specialists to deliver measurable commercial impact.

In this role you will:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the global strategy for revenue protection and generation, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and transformation objectives.
  • Revenue Optimisation: Identify, prioritise, and deliver initiatives to maximise revenue recovery and growth, including waiver management optimisation, margin improvement, and supplier negotiation frameworks.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and empower a team of Revenue Protection Specialists and Leader to deliver high‑impact commercial outcomes. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Performance Management & Reporting: Establish robust metrics, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms to measure performance, highlight opportunities, and communicate impact to senior stakeholders.
  • Automation & Process Excellence: Partner with Automation, Operations, and Commercial teams to enhance revenue through process automation, ensuring issues are identified, prioritised, and resolved swiftly.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Commercial, Product, and Supplier Management teams, to align on strategies and share insights.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Drive ideation and experimentation across the team to identify new revenue opportunities. Champion a test‑and‑learn approach and scale successful initiatives globally.
  • Risk & Revenue Protection: Oversee frameworks for identifying and mitigating revenue leakage, ensuring that financial risks are minimised and revenue integrity is maintained across systems and processes.
  • Global Collaboration: Operate flexibly across time zones to ensure alignment between regional teams and central functions. Lead effective knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination across markets.
