Hinckley‑Finlayson High School is seeking a 0.28 FTE Theater Arts Teacher for the 2026‑27 school year.
Hinckley‑Finlayson is a rural school district in east‑central MN that celebrates learning! We offer students and families a wide range of tools to make their education successful. Qualifications
- License Required: a Minnesota K‑12 or 5‑12 Theater Arts.
Responsibilities
- Develops lesson plans and instructional materials to teach 7th and 8th grade Theater Class.
- Translates lesson plans into developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
- Communicates regularly with parents via Schoology, newsletters, phone calls, e‑mails, conferences, etc.
- Works in a supportive and collaborative manner with colleagues and supervisors.
- Participates in building and department meetings and workshops in an effort to stay current with best teaching practices.
- Participates in a professional learning community on a regular basis.
- Integration of technology into instruction.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
