Hinckley Elementary School is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.
Hinckley-Finlayson is a rural school district in east-central MN that celebrates learning! We offer students and families a wider range of tools to make their education successful. Hinckley-Finlayson staff members are experts at helping students with unique challenges develop to their fullest potential.
Qualifications:
- Current MN Licensure in Special Education in ASD, DCD, EBD, SLD, or ABS.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a variety of students within any disability area.
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to create thorough lesson plans and implement them effectively.
- Must be able to do assessments for purposes of determining special education eligibility.
- Must have good data collection expertise and the ability to monitor student progress.
- Must be a good collaborator and team player.
- Must be able to work with and supervise paraprofessionals.
