Commercial Account Handler
to join an established and supportive team based in Winchester.
This is a great opportunity for someone with
commercial insurance experience
who enjoys building long-term client relationships and managing an existing portfolio.
The Role Youll be responsible for managing a portfolio of
commercial clients.
Importantly,
there is no new business target
for this role.
The focus is on providing excellent service, managing renewals and mid-term adjustments, and developing strong, long-term relationships with existing clients.
Key Responsibilities Manage an established portfolio of commercial insurance clients.
Handle renewals from initial preparation through to completion.
Manage mid-term adjustments and client queries efficiently.
Prepare and present appropriate insurance solutions to clients.
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
Ensure client records and documentation are accurate and up to date.
Provide a high standard of customer service and manage complaints appropriately.
Ensure all activity is carried out in line with
FCA regulations and industry requirements .
Maintain a strong understanding of
Consumer Duty, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF)
and relevant FCA requirements.
Keep up to date with market developments, client industries and insurance products.
Work closely with internal teams, including Accounts and Claims.
Contribute to improving processes and supporting the wider team.
About You Commercial insurance experience is essential.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

CII qualification or progress towards the Certificate in Insurance
would be advantageous.
Working Arrangements The role is primarily office-based in
Winchester , with the flexibility to work
one day per week from home .
The four office days can be agreed with the successful candidate.
Ideally, were looking for someone who enjoys working within an office environment and being part of a collaborative team.
