We are currently seeking French Speaking candidates to join a dynamic and international logistics team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients, managing transport bookings (including specialist cargo), coordinating with operational teams, and ensuring that every shipment runs as efficiently as possible. You will build strong relationships with clients, ports, and internal teams while developing your expertise in freight, transport, and route planning.

Main Responsibilities:
- To manage all transport requests and respond as effectively as possible to client expectations
- Process booking requests (including hazardous and explosive goods bookings)
- Propose solutions tailored to clients' needs
- Acquire specific knowledge related to an assigned route
- Maximise vessel loading capacity through collaboration with the Operational Route Manager
- Handle service disruptions in coordination with the Operational Route Manager
- Ensure the administrative management of all transport documents
- Communicate with port and terminal staff to ensure smooth and efficient vessel and terminal operations
- Assist in training new arrivals
Communication channels:
- Maintain communication with all clients by phone, via our web platform, and by email, providing up-to-date information on their cargo, space availability, and assigned drivers
- Train client representatives on making their own bookings online through the online portal
- Assist and support clients as needed
About you:
- Minimum of a high school diploma (A-level or equivalent), with at least 3 years of professional experience
- Strong understanding of B2B customer service
- Good knowledge of the freight or transport industry is preferred but not essential. Training will be given.
Skills required:
- Proficiency in French & English
- Knowledge of Spanish is a plus
- Familiarity with transport and customs booking processes for import and export would be preferred but not essential.

Office open from 8am to 6pm. You will work on a rota basis covering these hours. Rota given in advance with weekly shifts with start times of either 8am, 8.30am, 9am or 9.30am. Hours worked 7.5 in total plus one hour lunch break.
Hybrid working 2 days a week when fully trained (Monday and Friday working from home). Initially, the role will be 100% office based in their office in Poole. One in six Saturdays (8.30am - 2.30pm) full day given off in lieu of hours worked.
This role is a fixed term contract for one year with a potential to extend on completion of contract and on performance review.
