The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
Our Housing Team is a busy, thriving team which is constantly working towards creating a community free of homelessness. We provide advice, information and assistance on all housing issues within the Borough. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic housing professional to become part of the team.
You will provide housing-related support to clients who are at risk of homelessness and who are considered to require such support to manage their tenancy and maintain their ability to live independently in the community, including initial resettlement for people taking up new tenancies.
You will have housing-related experience and some knowledge of homelessness legislation. An ability to interpret and communicate complex information is essential as is being an adaptable, sympathetic and organised individual. You will also have an understanding of the needs of clients with mental health problems, complex needs, learning disabilities, substance misuse and/or vulnerable people.
A full driving licence is required.

The position involves contact with vulnerable adults therefore successful applicants will be required to obtain a Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate. Assistance will be given by the Council and further details will be in the job application pack.
