Our green spaces, commons and cemeteries are highly treasured by our residents. This is your chance to take guardianship of these much-loved facilities that are such an important part of Elmbridge life.
You will be working with a determined and committed group, passionate about protecting and enhancing the green spaces, cemeteries and commons in Elmbridge. They know the value of these spaces to our residents, especially our most vulnerable residents.
You are a greenspaces officer with experience of managing a small dedicated team and ensuring the delivery of the ground maintenance contract for our green spaces. You will also have the ability to manage a variety of services, ensuring the residents of Elmbridge are best served at all times.
You will be able to demonstrate your knowledge of excellent customer service and communication skills, successfully delivering green space contracts and managing a small team, being highly organised and skilled in the administration of contracts, working with local councillors and providing community engagement, and demonstrating innovation and creativity in the delivery of services.
