Mobile Estate Services Warden (Mobile Caretaker)

Salary Range £23,557 – £24,264 for 37 hours per week

Working Hours: 37 – Full Time

About the role

The Mobile Estate Services Warden will work in a small, dedicated team of estate wardens contributing to the delivery of housing services provided by the Council. The Estate Services team provides an in-house cleaning service to our residential and communal blocks and estates. The mobile estate warden will work alongside the team who are based at Surrey Towers in Addlestone. The mobile estate warden will be responsible for visiting the Council’s different sites, across Runnymede to ensure we continue to provide a first-class cleaning service for our residents. Previous experience of domestic/commercial cleaning is essential.

About you

Our in-house cleaning service is a physically demanding job so being physically fit is essential to dealing with the various tasks that the role entails. The role requires someone who has previous experience within the cleaning industry and is outgoing as engaging with our residents and other team members within the council is very important. An understanding of current health and safety and COSHH would be an advantage. This role will require the right candidate be able to travel across the borough using a company vehicle, so a driving licence is essential. The role will require you to work both alone and as part of a team depending on the needs of the job. You will be required to provide occasional out of hours, on call cover, with emergency assistance. Some previous experience using various Microsoft applications to log site visits and fly tipping issues would be an advantage although training will be provided.
