Our client is a well established and regarded school based in Taunton. We are working with them to secure a Personal Assistant to the Headmaster (Term Time) Hours of work Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (one hour for lunch) – Term time (33 weeks) plus three half term weeks, and one week at the start and at the end of each term (9 weeks) (42 weeks in total) The appointed individual will provide a first class personal and professional support to the Headmaster in order to ensure the effective leadership of the school. You will have strong organisational and administrative skills, excellent written and spoken English, a high level of tact and discretion and an excellent telephone manner. You will be flexible and adaptable to change and used to working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have previous experience of working in a school. Key responsibilities To act as Personal Assistant to the Headmaster and assist him in the smooth running of the school. Review, prioritise, direct, and delegate a wide range of complex and confidential requests for the Headmasters consideration. Efficiently organise and maintain the Headmasters calendar, scheduling internal and external meetings, events, and VIP visits, and ensuring the smooth coordination of schedules. Arrange logistics for meetings, interviews, and events, including venue booking, catering, visitor hospitality, and itinerary creation.
