Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs to achieve their full potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Partner to join our supportive Interventions Team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by providing targeted support to learners, helping them overcome barriers to learning and succeed both academically and personally.
The Role
As a Learning Partner within the Interventions Team, you will:
- Support the school's on-call provision, responding to learners who require additional support throughout the school day.
- Provide in-class support to learners during lessons, helping them engage with learning and reach their individual targets.
- Build positive relationships with students, encouraging confidence, independence and emotional wellbeing.
- Assist with personal care needs where required, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure appropriate and dignified support is provided.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN), or a strong desire to develop within this field.
- Is patient, resilient and empathetic.
- Can remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
- Is passionate about helping learners overcome barriers to education.
