Your new role
Reporting into the Group Finance team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely group financial reporting across a multinational business. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting and preparing the monthly group consolidation process
- Raising consolidation journals and reviewing consolidated reporting outputs
- Assisting with the preparation of annual statutory accounts and group reporting disclosures
- Providing technical accounting guidance across the finance function, including IFRS research and application
- Managing relationships with external auditors and coordinating audit requests
- Taking ownership of a portfolio of UK and overseas entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and statutory compliance
- Supporting month-end close activities and helping drive continuous improvement of financial reporting processes
- Becoming a key user of financial reporting and consolidation systems, providing support to wider finance teams
What you'll need to succeed
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualified accountant
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with up-to-date IFRS expertise
- Experience of multinational group consolidations
- Previous audit experience, either in practice or industry
- Strong financial reporting and statutory accounting experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to financial control
- Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance
