Β£95 to Β£105 per day
An excellent secondary school located in Southall, West London are looking for a motivated MATHS LEARNING ASSISTANT who is able to work with children in small groups and within maths lessons to help improve progress. The school highly values the importance of academic knowledge and are wanting to recruit someone who shares this ethos.
You will be working alongside the teachers and other teaching assistants to support children in their attainment and progress. You will need to support children's learning up to GCSE level, be adaptable accordingly to the needs of the individual children, and make observations and carry out sessions instructed by the teacher to improve progress.
MATHS LEARNING ASSISTANT
Key skills and experience needed:
- Degree is preferred, in Maths based subjects are preferred (Maths, Accounting and Finance, Physics, Engineering, and others)
- Experience working with children is required
- Understanding of special needs or learning difficulties.
- Contribute an enthusiastic and creative approach to learning.
- High levels of professionalism.
