Production Operative | Manufacturing Operative | Factory Operative

Sharpness Docks, Gloucestershire (GL13 9UX) | Β£13.00 per hour | Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm | 40 hours per week | Full-Time

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a successful and growing manufacturing business based at Sharpness Docks near Berkeley.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys physically active, hands-on work and wants to develop new skills within a supportive team environment. Whether you have experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse operations, construction, groundwork or another practical role, we'd love to hear from you.

Please note: Due to the location of the site, applicants must have their own transport.

Key Duties

  • Operating production machinery safely and efficiently.

  • Loading machinery with packaging materials.

  • Carrying out manual handling and lifting duties.

  • Palletising finished products ready for dispatch.

  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the site.

  • Always following health and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Enjoy practical, hands-on work.

  • Experience in a physical working environment such as manufacturing, warehousing, construction, groundwork or production.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team.

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Pride in maintaining high safety standards.

  • Own transport due to the site's location.
