As a Paint Operator, you will operate the Premix Tanks and related equipment (supersacks, bag dump station, agitator, etc.).

The Paint Operator performs dosing, grinding, batchmaking, etc.

Where you'll make an impact

Operate, fill and dispense paint using the Klieverik Intermix System, operate the High Pressure Wash system, and operate the Low Pressure Wash system as needed and operate the Strontium Chromate slurry system, while operate the nitrogen blanketing system.

  • Operate the weigh scales in Production areas
  • Operate the air-driven drum dumper and the portable bag dump station

What matters for this role

  • The Paint Operator must be able to move through various production areas, principally manufacturing areas/floors
  • Must comply with all Policies, Rules and Regulations for Production Employees
  • Must be able to wear all required safety equipment and protective clothing as required by law and/or corporate policy
  • This includes, but is not limited to, safety shoes, safety glasses, ear protection, vapor and dust respirators, and safety gloves
  • Must be able to stay on feet for 8-12 hours each day
  • Required for paint manufacturing, including
  • Must pass company math test
  • Minimum High School Education or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift fifty pounds, which represents the typical weight of a bag of solid raw material or a 5-gallon pail of liquid raw material
