This Diagnostic Support Administrator position focuses on carrying out basic finance checks to provide Fera’s central finance team with data for account set-up.

What you'll be doing

  • Plan) under which all employees are awarded points towards shares in the Employee
  • Provide basic scientific advice on pest and disease testing services
  • Liaise with customers to resolve any issues with booking in their samples e.g., missing information
  • Prepare invoices and accounts for commercial customers
  • Liaise with customers and other colleagues by email and telephone about sample details, results and other general enquires
  • Carry out general administrative duties

Working details

  • Work model: On-site
  • Hours: Flexible working hours, on-site gym, restaurant, free parking and a discounted on-site nursery
  • Excellent team working skills in conjunction with the ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision

What matters for this role

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Of working effectively with fluctuating workloads, meeting deadlines, whilst continuing to meet a high standard of work
  • With the ability to deal with internal and external customers by telephone, email and occasionally face-to-face
  • Have the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
  • Able to follow standard operating procedures, whilst displaying proven problem solving and troubleshooting
  • , as well as an eye for detail and accuracy
