We are currently looking for a Yard Operative to join our team and be part of our continuing growth at our Operations Centre in St Helens WA10 3DB. You'll be working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, with no bank holiday working, so you'll benefit from a great work-life balance and have more time to yourself.
Our Yard Operatives are a dedicated team that are crucial to our operation. They love working in all weathers and have a passion for vehicles and working with cars. We see Copart as a family and as one team we guide and support every team mate, to ensure that we have the skills to tackle every challenge that comes our way. Our team consistently and promptly respond to customer requests and complete service orders to deadlines. They ensure that vehicles are stored and maintained in line with customer and company standards and operate a handheld device to take images of vehicles.
Minimum Requirements:- Full driving licence
- Excellent customer service
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications
- Be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Happy to work outside, in all weather conditions
- Monday to Friday, working 8am to 5pm
- 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and an additional day per year to celebrate a special occasion to you
