The ward service department based at Rowley Regis Hospital currently has part-time positions available for people who would like to work in a busy healthcare setting and are willing to work hard to help make the patient stay a safe one by maintaining a high level of cleanliness. These positions involve cleaning of wards, departments, and general areas. We also provide breakfast, lunch, and supper meal services to in-patients.
The main duties are cleaning wards, departments, and general areas to a high standard. This includes cleaning of sanitary areas, i.e., bathrooms and W/Cs, and the use of industrial cleaning machines, i.e., scrubber dryers and floor polishers. Ward Services also provide food and beverage services to in-patients.
Full training will be given, but a minimum of 1 year of cleaning experience is required. Previous catering experience is desirable.
