The Role
- Maintaining and improving all site facilities, utilities, and infrastructure to ensure smooth and efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintaining site services including HVAC, compressed air, electrical systems, and utilities.
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
- Supporting infrastructure upgrades and site improvement projects.
- Managing contractors, permits to work, and ensuring compliance.
- Monitoring facility performance and minimising downtime.
- Working closely with production and engineering teams.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and statutory regulations.
- Maintaining accurate maintenance and compliance records.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong facilities or maintenance engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience in facilities or maintenance engineering within manufacturing.
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical knowledge.
- Experience with PPM systems and maintenance planning.
- Knowledge of contractor management and compliance processes.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
- Good understanding of health & safety regulations.
Shift Pattern & Pay
- Day Shift: 06:00 – 14:30 – £20.00 – £22.00 per hour.
- Mid Shift: 14:00 – 22:30 – 20% shift allowance (£24.00 – £26.40 per hour).
- Overtime: Paid at a premium rate after 40 hours.
