Pertemps are currently recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join a leading self storage company based in Southampton.

Responsibilities as an Assistant Store Manager:

  • Take responsibility for the running of the store on occasions when the store manager is absent.
  • Deal effectively with sales enquiries from customers.
  • Advise and sell the range of available services to potential and existing customers.
  • Maximise every sales enquiry to ensure the store hits its target.
  • Complete all administrative tasks to ensure compliance with company procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy store.
  • Raise awareness with the Regional Manager of any operational issues that require attention in Store Manager’s absence.
  • Take responsibility for the set up and control of store marketing tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous store management experience.
  • Comfortable working in a small team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven management experience.
  • Good with figures and compliance.

The Assistant Store Manager Role:

  • Based in Southampton.
  • £28,980 salary.
  • 40 hours a week, 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
  • Required to work 1 in 3 weekends.
