Sous Chef

As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the kitchen, supporting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality meals for residents. You will prepare and cook a range of dishes, ensuring they meet menu specifications and dietary requirements. Maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene will be at the heart of everything you do.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals in line with established recipes, dietary modifications, and individual needs.
• Ensure all food is produced to the highest quality, meeting nutritional and allergy requirements.
• Maintain excellent food hygiene and safety standards in compliance with regulations.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and kitchen organization.
• Support the Head Chef in menu planning and innovation.

Qualifications:

• Experience working as a Sous Chef or Cook in a professional kitchen.
• A passion for preparing nutritious meals that support well-being.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards.
• Ability to adapt meals for dietary needs.
• A team player with great organizational and communication skills.

Salary: £26,000 | 40 Hours Per Week
