Arcus cleaners take pride in keeping Sainsbury's supermarkets clean and safe for its customers. Cleaners will complete daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standard of cleaning within our Sainsbury's stores. Tasks will consist of but are not limited to:
- Operating machinery
- Carrying out thorough cleaning activities including mopping, vacuuming, wiping, and sweeping to ensure stores are kept clean.
- Cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, or oven canopies
- Working outside to keep trolley bays clean, free of leaves and debris
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are applied

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not essential as on-the-job training will be supplied. An eye for detail and cleanliness, along with a positive attitude towards cleaning and customer service, is essential.
At Arcus, cleaners are a vital part of our company, and we are looking to recruit 2 part-time In-store Cleaners based in Sainsbury's Alphington Road store on a permanent basis. Both positions are for 16 hours per week with an hourly rate of Β£11.44. Immediate start is available. Sainsbury's stores are open 7 days a week, and here at Arcus, we offer various shift patterns with 5 and 6-day working available. The current shift patterns for this role are:
- Role 1: Sunday: 15:00 - 19:00, Monday: Day Off, Tuesday: 16:30 - 19:30, Wednesday: 16:30 - 19:30, Thursday: 16:30 - 19:30, Friday: 16:30 - 19:30, Saturday: Day Off
- Role 2: Sunday: 06:30 - 10:30, Monday: Day Off, Tuesday: Day Off, Wednesday: 05:00 - 08:00, Thursday: 05:00 - 08:00, Friday: 05:00 - 08:00, Saturday: 05:00 - 08:00
You will also have some opportunity to increase your hours through overtime.
