It's exciting times at Churchill Estates Management and due to our growth, we are looking for compassionate Relief Lodge Managers for our retirement developments in the region. You'll cover the absences of permanent Lodge Managers on an "as and when required" basis at retirement developments within a reasonable travelling distance of your location.
Managing both the maintenance of the property and providing a first-class service to Owners, you'll be working at the heart of Churchill Estates Management, promoting a happy and fulfilling lifestyle for Owners. Based at a central desk within the development, you'll be a visible and reassuring presence, while administering the office, arranging contractors to maintain the building and complying with health and safety checks and standards.
From facilitating social events to supporting the sales team with customer viewings, you'll play a key role in the business and liaise with a range of departments and external contacts. Hours of work and presence on site will be subject to negotiation between yourself and the Area Manager when work is available. This role will suit someone looking for a flexible role, content to work as and when required. The position won't be suitable for people who are already committed to permanent work elsewhere.
It's important that you understand our customers and have a desire to make a positive difference. With the focus on providing a happy and fulfilling lifestyle for the Owners, you'll have an outgoing and friendly personality with a love of people and socialising. You'll know when to act with sensitivity and diplomacy but also have the efficiency and assertiveness to manage the safety of the Owners and the security of the developments. Despite the high levels of social contact, you'll also be happy working independently on your own initiative.
To support with the organisation of events and administer the maintenance of the site, you'll be computer literate with previous experience of using Outlook. Previous property management, social housing, retail, care work, customer or hospitality experience would be advantageous.
We are Churchill Estates Management, a progressive managing agent of privately owned leasehold Retirement Living accommodation. We manage over 200 developments nationally, overseeing more than 8000 apartments and providing property services and customer care to over 10,000 retired people. However, we are not stopping there, as we are rapidly growing and have ambitious plans for the future.
