Registered Care Home Manager – Mental Health Care Home

Herefordshire

£38,000 – £45,000 per annum (based upon experience)

5 shifts per week

Aston House Care Ltd in Hereford provides support for Adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health Needs. The residential home supports up to 19 adults, offering a variety of supportive pathways, personalised to suit each person’s specific needs. We are focused on the strengths, interests and dreams of each person we support, our staff are our heroes and they need a leader!

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who leads by example and thrives in a supportive, people-focused environment.

What we’re looking for

  • Experienced as a Registered Care Home Manager
  • Committed to supporting people to live lifestyles of their choosing
  • To work effectively and professionally ensuring all staff are aware of Company policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company
  • Has broad experience of managing people, service and quality within Mental Health and Learning Disabilities
  • Demonstrates positive values
  • Able to promote and maintain independence, choice and respect
  • Holds a QCF 5 (or Equivalent) in Health and Social Care or be already working towards
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
  • Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice

Shifts and responsibilities

Shifts (5 per week):

  • Mon-Fri: 8:00am – 4:00pm (3pm on Fridays)
  • Possible additional shifts depending on staffing needs
