The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
We are looking to appoint a Non-Training Fixed Term Foundation Year 2 Doctor to fill a vacancy within Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. You will be based in community CAMHS at Orchard House and will work covering the hours of 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday, to see new patients and selected follow-up patients under senior supervision.
Junior doctors will participate in the teaching of team members, medical students, nurse students, and clinical attachments as required.
Responsibilities include:
- Maintaining case records and completing discharge summaries.
- Liaising with GPs and other staff appropriately as required.
- Contributing to the provision of high-quality services for people within community CAMHS by continual development of practice in the light of evidence-based and clinical standards.
- Committing to maintaining a high quality of service to patients through continual development of practice and audits against clinically relevant standards.
- Suggesting and implementing improvements to services and exercising professional responsibility within an open 'no-blame' culture.
- Agreeing on a job plan regarding work distribution with the Medical Lead upon appointment.
