As a LEGO Model Designer working within the Art Department, you will be working alongside an enthusiastic team of artists helping to drive and deliver the next generation of AAA games created at TT. As part of the LEGO Models Team, the successful candidate will enjoy working alongside LEGO Designers and Models Artists, with a focus on delivering a range of quality LEGO assets. This role will have a focus on the creation of buildings and architecture assets ranging from single items to larger more complex models including brick-built LEGO environments. Being a creative person with a keen eye on quality visuals, alongside having a passion for playing computer and console games is a must, as you will be working directly on publishable materials.
Main responsibilities:
- Design of LEGO models from single items to full environments.
- Interpretation of specific art style and direction.
- Team collaboration to deliver environments featuring multiple contributors\' artwork.
- Setup of high detail models for use in cut-scenes.
Additional responsibilities:
- The design of decals/printed elements.
- Creation of approval materials for submission to The LEGO Group and any additional stakeholders.
- Undertake relevant on-the-job training to keep up to date with industry advancements and technologies.
- Assist with tools training as directed by Lead LEGO Model Artist.
- Optimization of models to work across multiple platforms.
- Updates and maintenance of the TT LEGO Brick Libraries.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable portfolio showing LEGO model designs.
- Knowledge of LEGO themes, elements, connections, and building techniques.
- Proficiency with LEGO design software such as LDD Pro or Studio.
- Excellent in-person and remote communication skills.
- Flexible approach with the ability to adapt to change.
- Ability to deliver quality work to scheduled deadlines.
Beneficial:
- Experience with a game engine such as Unreal or Unity.
- Proficiency in Maya & Photoshop/Illustrator.
- Skilled in LEGO vehicle design such as those seen in the LEGO Speed Champions range.

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work.
