Lead Hand/Ganger

Here at JN Bentley, we are looking for an enthusiastic and positive Lead Hand / Ganger to lead a gang who live in the Bicester area and to work across the region on our sites. In the role, you will report to Site Management and lead a gang on various construction sites predominantly within the water industry. You will have a proactive attitude towards work and health and safety, with ideally experience working within the water industry and general civil work, concreting, deep drainage, and pipe laying.

Responsibilities:

1. Experience managing a gang working on civils projects.
2. A positive attitude towards work, along with the ability to maintain high standards of health and safety, with experience of a reporting culture.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Current CSCS, CPCS / NOCN or NPORS with NVQ and Plant Tickets.
2. Site Supervisor or Site Management training.
3. Full UK Driving Licence essential.

Advantageous:

1. National Water Hygiene card.
2. Slinger / Signaller or Crane Lift Supervisor.
3. Confined Spaces City & Guilds.
4. Plus, any other Plant tickets.
5. 3 day First Aid.
