We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant (HCA) to care for a male client with a brain tumour and acquired brain injury (ABI). The client has severe contractures on the left side of his body. His main hobbies include watching TV (sports and general programming) and listening to the radio.
Daily Duties:
- Moving and handling
- Personal care assistance
- Medication administration
- Assisting with meals (wife will prepare meals, HCA will assist with feeding)
Grade: Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
Gender: No preference
Age Restriction: None
Driver: Driver preferred (UK or international, manual or auto), with business insurance.
Clinical Skills:
- Experience in moving and handling
- Medication management
- Seizure awareness
Other Preferences:
- Non-smoker preferred
