The predicted salary is between 54000 - 84000 £ per year.

This is an exciting new role in which you’ll lead our newly created Airfield Performance function to achieve Manchester Airport’s future growth targets. The successful candidate will lead and consolidate the integration of all airfield change, transformation and renewal projects into the aerodrome operation, ensuring the regulatory compliance requirements are maintained, operations are fully optimised and aviation growth targets are met and operational KPI’s are achieved and exceeded.

You’ll also be accountable for developing and overseeing the delivery of a portfolio of operational improvement projects across our runway, taxiway and apron flows, ensuring benefits are continually measured and fully realised, whilst ensuring a consolidated plan for aerodrome operations is in place and all technical requirements are met, ensuring front-line service delivery teams are set up for success and benefits are fully realised.

What will make you successful in the role?

We are looking for someone with strong experience of working in a complex, regulated and multi-stakeholder environment. A knowledge of the airport or aviation industry would be advantageous. You’ll have proven change management capability and experience of leading continuous improvement projects in a highly complex environment, with the ability to develop and document strategies and plans. You’ll also need to have great interpersonal and stakeholder management skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data and draw insight.

You will have experience of leading a team of subject matter experts, setting work plans and objectives for the team and establishing continuous improvement projects which support the delivery of Manchester Airport’s operational strategy.
