Salary: up to £35,000 DOE + Company Vehicle & Tools Provided

Hours: Full Time – Minimum 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required in emergency situations.

About The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Technician to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair services across multiple sites in London. This is a hands‑on, mobile role suited to someone with strong plumbing experience alongside general maintenance skills across carpentry, painting, sheet metal repairs, and basic electrical work. You’ll work both independently and as part of a wider team, taking pride in maintaining safe, functional, and well‑presented facilities. The successful candidate will be proactive, self‑motivated, and capable of managing a varied workload while maintaining high standards of workmanship and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plumbing (Primary Focus)
    • Repair minor leaks on hot and cold‑water systems
    • Replace taps, washers, and sanitary fittings
    • Clear internal waste pipe blockages
    • Carry out minor tiling repairs and refit sanitary ware
  • Carpentry & General Repairs
    • Adjust and repair timber and steel‑framed doors
    • Fit and adjust door closers and locking mechanisms
    • Rehang doors and repair cabinets, lockers, and shelving
    • Carry out repairs to trolleys and general fixtures
  • Painting & Decorating
    • Complete touch‑up painting and general decoration work
    • Repaint floors, bollards, trolleys, and damaged areas
  • Sheet Metal & Structural Repairs
    • Carry out repairs to storage units and metal fixtures
    • Replace locks, signage, and protective fittings
    • Repair dents, bump strips, and security mesh
    • Remove sharp edges and complete minor panel repairs
  • Basic Electrical
    • Replace lamps and starters in office and storage areas
  • General Duties
    • Carry out additional maintenance tasks as required
    • Maintain safe working practices and comply with health & safety standards
    • Conduct pre‑use checks on tools and equipment
    • Represent the business professionally when working on‑site

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar maintenance or facilities role
  • Strong plumbing experience essential
  • Experience working within commercial and multi‑site environments
  • Experience working directly for an employer rather than solely self‑employed
  • Full UK manual driving licence
  • Must live within North London
  • Must have access to secure overnight parking for a company vehicle
  • Willingness to travel between London sites when required
  • Good understanding of health & safety and safe use of tools/PPE
  • Strong communication, organisation, and problem‑solving skills
  • Able to work independently and manage workloads effectively

Desirable

  • Relevant maintenance or trade qualifications
  • Experience in mobile or field‑based maintenance roles
