The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are recruiting for the position of an Experienced Electrical Contract Supervisor to oversee domestic electrical work including responsive maintenance, EICR's & planned Kitchen, Bathroom and rewire works. The position will involve the management of testing, responsive maintenance, and small planned contracts; the daily duties are below.

  • Liaise with the admin team to manage workload for operatives.
  • Manage quality of work by both direct and sub-contractor engineers.
  • Liaise with Contracts manager daily and issue progress reports.
  • Daily management of directly employed and sub-contractor operatives.
  • Manage all on-site materials and van stock levels.
  • Liaise with the client regarding progress and daily issues.
  • Carry out or manage planned pre and post site surveys.
  • Collate and counter sign electrical certification and issue to the client.
  • Carry out and complete small tasks if required.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and operative audits.
  • Deliver toolbox talks.
  • Ensure Health and Safety compliance.
  • Counter sign and check NICEIC certification - Qualified Supervisor.

The right candidate must be a fully time-served electrician and hold the relevant qualifications to a minimum NVQ3 standard & 18th edition. The additional 2391 / 2394 testing qualification and experience is preferred but not essential. The right candidate will be put forward to the NICEIC for the Qualified Supervisor assessment. A company phone, vehicle, and workwear will be provided. A DBS check (basic disclosure) will need to be completed for the successful candidate.
