What you'll be doing: The chosen candidate will play a crucial role within the Classified Infrastructure team, undertaking the responsibility of maintaining and managing the overall performance and availability of classified networks and other hosted systems, and actively providing support to users at all levels of the organization - effectively addressing infrastructure support issues. Due to the secure network required, this role will be based on-site at our Manchester office; travel to other locations will also be required when necessary.

  • Linux OS, platforms including variants of Redhat and Debian
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2019 & 2022
  • Microsoft Exchange 2016 & 2019
  • SQL Server 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022
  • Windows Desktop
  • VMWARE (Infrastructure 5.5, vSphere 7 and higher)
  • Networking & Security - TCP/IP, DNS, Firewall
  • Install, Configure & Support Citrix Provisioning services
  • End point protection
  • Infrastructure as Code tools such as Packer, Terraform or Ansible
  • 3-5 years' experience working in a busy IS Department or other relevant work experience.

Due to the secure nature of this role, candidates must be eligible to obtain UK DV clearance.
