Class 2 Wet Waste Tanker Driver

The position of Class 2 Driver involves:

1. Collection and delivery of liquid sludge within the South West.
2. Due to the nature of the locations of our collections, there will be a high degree of rural driving.
3. Planning routes on a day-to-day basis.
4. Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing our customers\’ expectations.
5. Dealing with customers face-to-face and over the phone and providing a high level of customer service.
6. Attending regular training sessions.

Essential skills required for Class 2 Driver:

1. Must hold a UK Class 2 C Licence.
2. Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
3. Experience of working with vacuum tankers and waste water is advantageous, but full training will be given.
4. Excellent organisational skills and used to working to deadlines.
5. Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
6. Confident, polite, and a team player.
7. Strong geographical knowledge of the local area.
8. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be hardworking and self-motivated.

Salary: Between £35,791pa – £41,012pa, AND MORE! Depending on hours worked.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, start time 07:00hrs, including 1 in 3 Saturdays.
