Fantastic opportunity to join our existing team of Tipper Drivers. Successful applicants must hold a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph card & Drivers Qualification card.

Requirements:

  • Be fully aware of the rules of the road and the regulations specified in the Highway Code & always abide by them & the Road Traffic Act 1988.
  • Have sound knowledge of Road Transport Working Time Directive & Drivers Hours Regulations & abide by them.
  • Complete & record comprehensive pre-use & end of shift defect checks.
  • Continuously check the roadworthiness of your vehicle by way of walkaround checks throughout the course of each shift and report any defects found.
  • Always ensure that a load is secure in line with the vehicle safe system of work, before leaving site. Never travel with an unsafe, insecure or overweight load.
  • Adhere to site specific rules at all times, following rules signposted & given to you on respective site inductions.
  • Maintain a high standard of vehicle cleanliness - both interior & exterior.
  • Contribute in your fullest capacity to the company delivering a best-in-class customer service to all our customers, including maintaining a good relationship with customers at all times.
  • Undertake any other duties that are a reasonable request.
  • Demonstrate a safe, economic & defensive driving style at all times.
  • Demonstrate a high standard of geographical knowledge.

On target earnings circa £40,000 per annum plus performance related bonuses. Annual leave entitlement of 28 days inclusive of Bank Holidays per annum. Driver CPC Training. Full company uniform. Internal training & opportunities for progression.
