We're working in partnership with a well-established and forward-thinking law firm with a strong presence across South Wales and the South West.
Known for its modern approach and commercial mindset, the firm supports both businesses and private clients across a broad range of legal services.
Due to continued growth, they're now looking to appoint an experienced Conveyancer to join their residential property team based in Chepstow.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team where you'll have real autonomy in your role while still benefiting from structured support.
You'll be working alongside a dedicated Property Assistant who will support with file opening, client onboarding, and administrative processes, freeing you up to focus on delivering a high-quality service and managing your caseload effectively.
This role offers excellent client exposure and the chance to play an active part in business development and marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion
- Handling sales, purchases and transfers
- Managing remortgages
- Drafting contract packs
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Preparing reports on title
- Handling exchanges and completions
- Maintaining strong client relationships throughout the transaction process
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
- Minimum 2 years' PQE within residential conveyancing
- Confident managing your own caseload independently
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients at all levels
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive, driven, and keen to contribute to a growing team
