Duties will include:

  • preparing exam halls and rooms
  • setting out documentation
  • supervising candidates during exams
  • assisting with seating
  • ensuring school procedures are adhered to.

Invigilators need to be reliable and punctual, empathetic towards our students, able to follow instructions, and capable of standing/walking for up to 3 hours. A flexible approach is important as unexpected situations may arise during exams, requiring the ability to switch priorities. A committed approach to your allocated dates is vital.

No previous experience is required; new invigilators will be fully trained, mostly by shadowing experienced invigilators during our mock weeks. Training will be provided. The school can offer flexible opportunities in the mornings and/or afternoons on certain days of the week if candidates hold other jobs. Exact dates will be confirmed well in advance, with the possibility of additional sessions being offered later as unexpected situations arise. Invigilators offered later dates will be able to decline or accept as they wish.
