As an Assistant Assessment Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our Biology and Chemistry Team, making a real difference in the world of education. Your work as an Assistant Assessment Manager is crucial to the quality of the syllabuses managed by our team. You will work with Assessment Managers to ensure the smooth completion of tasks throughout the assessment cycle. Ultimately, it's all about ensuring that candidates receive fair assessments, and that our valued customers, including schools and Ministries, are delighted with the services provided by Cambridge University Press & Assessment.

In this role, you'll be working closely with various stakeholders, including the Biology and Chemistry team Group Manager, Assessment Managers and colleagues within the Operations Directorate. You'll become an integral part of our collaborative team, contributing to the success of our assessments.

Your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks throughout the assessment cycle, from supporting with syllabus development through to the production of assessment materials and live examination series work. You will play a critical role in the production, checking, and proofreading of assessment materials, including question papers and mark schemes, ensuring they meet the highest quality standards and deadlines.

Additionally, you will support with the efficient management of examiners and the meticulous monitoring of marking and grading processes to ensure that accurate results are issued to candidates on time. You will support with post-series work, such as proofreading mark schemes and Principal Examiner reports, to make sure they are accurate and useful for teachers. Your dedication to following established procedures and adhering to schedules will help maintain the integrity of Cambridge Assessment International Education's assessment standards.

As a member of our Biology and Chemistry team, you will have a degree in Biology, Chemistry or a closely-related subject. You will have experience working in teaching, education or project management, and will have an excellent standard of English communication skills.
