We're working to improve the lives of people in Somerset - and you'll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:

  • Instructing a variety of ages and abilities.
  • Domestic duties.
  • L3 course work.
  • Training, NGB's, courses etc.

We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:

  • Are adaptable.
  • Have a passion for working with a variety of people and age ranges.
  • Have a passion to work in the outdoors.
  • Are highly self-motivated.
  • Able to work as part of a team.

Previous coaching experience is helpful, a passion for the outdoors, being fit and active helps. Being flexible and understanding this is not a Mon-Fri, 9-5 role in the slightest.

Minimum Wage will be paid for the duration of the apprenticeship, for those aged 18 and below at £6.40 per hour. For those aged 19 and above, the Apprentice Minimum Wage of £6.40 will be paid for the first year and then increased to National Minimum Wage for age thereafter.
