As a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer at Macquarie, you will be a key contributor in delivering and supporting the strategic program to deploy Virtual Services globally. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the design and delivery across all Virtual Services, as well as collaborating closely with various internal and external technology and business teams. Additionally, as the EMEA point of contact, you will provide essential operational support for day-to-day activities, such as performance enhancement, app deployment, infrastructure maintenance, and incident resolution. Your experience in virtualisation technologies, infrastructure maintenance, and remote access systems will be pivotal to the growth and success of our services, globally. What you offer Familiarity with Microsoft Desktop SOE Design, SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policies, Application Packaging, and deployments is advantageous but not essential. Experience with DaaS platforms such as Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS Workspaces, etc. is highly regarded. Familiarity with designing, deploying, and maintaining remote access systems for virtual desktops and applications. Knowledge of public cloud or on-premise virtualization technologies and related infrastructure specific to VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure). Experience in deploying and managing Virtual Desktop and Application presentation platforms, whether on-premise or in the public cloud.
