Overview Eames are working with a leading global syndicate who are seeking an experienced Political & Credit Risk Underwriter to join their London-based team. The role will focus on underwriting a predominantly credit-led portfolio, with exposure across non-payment risk, structured credit transactions and political risk insurance.

You will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business, assessing complex credit risk, and developing a profitable book while building strong, long-term relationships with key brokers in the London market. This is an excellent opportunity for a credit & political risk underwriter who is comfortable operating in a front-line underwriting role, enjoys portfolio ownership and can add immediate value in a well-established team.

Candidates from larger company markets or broader credit-focused teams, as well as those with a broking background will be considered.
