Our client, a well‑established London‑based hedge fund with a strong track record and several years of successful operation, is seeking to hire a Trade Settlement Analyst to join its growing team. This opportunity offers broad exposure across multiple areas of the business within a dynamic and fast‑paced investment management environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform T0 and T+1 reconciliations across trades, cash, and positions.
- Liaise closely with Prime Brokers and fund administrators to ensure timely resolution of breaks and efficient operational processes.
- Manage corporate action monitoring and election processing.
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing operational infrastructure and portfolio management systems.
- Oversee cash management activities and daily margin monitoring.
- Coordinate with both internal teams and external counterparties to facilitate daily trading operations.
- Support FX share class hedging activities.
- Assist with treasury‑related operations.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements across compliance, operational controls, and risk management processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3–8 years’ experience within operations or a related middle‑office function at a hedge fund, proprietary trading firm, asset manager, or investment bank.
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to perform effectively in a high‑pressure environment.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential; VBA or other programming knowledge would be advantageous.
- Strong understanding of equities and equity market operations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a lean team structure.
