The Role
To lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Management Operating System (MOS) and associated processes across UK Distribution. The role will drive standardisation, optimise adviser panel allocation, embed best practice, enhance performance metrics, and enable sustainable behaviour change—ensuring the business delivers ambitious growth targets with increased capacity and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning: Develop and maintain a clear adviser relationship management strategy aligned to UK Distribution objectives. Ensure business plans are systematically reviewed and translated into actionable plans for RAMs, TAMs and SSEs. Design and implement processes that create sales capacity to ensure new opportunities can be opened up in line with new proposition enhancements.
- Performance Management: Design and implement effective targets and KPIs aligned to desired behaviours. Own the joined‑up KPI framework feeding daily, weekly and monthly reviews. Ensure MI is streamlined, insightful and actionable for managers.
- Process Improvement: Define, document and embed consistent ways of working across RAM, TAM and Account Relationship Roles. Standardise meeting preparation, execution and follow‑up best practice. Establish robust issue identification, capture and resolution mechanisms.
- Continuous Improvement: Ensure MOS sustainability through documentation, training and audit mechanisms. Champion best practice and continuous improvement across UK Distribution. Support transition from change delivery into BAU ownership.
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in UK Distribution and intermediary sales/operations.
- Proven experience delivering performance improvement or operational transformation.
- Previous experience of running sales teams to achieve targets.
- Highly numerate with strong MI, KPI and dashboard interpretation skills.
- Credible operator with ability to influence senior leaders and front‑line managers.
- Experience embedding behavioural and cultural change in regulated environments.
