Company Introduction: We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector‑leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for an experienced Solution Architect with previous experience in the Insurance industry.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives:
- You will be responsible for defining, governing, and delivering enterprise and solution architectures for insurance systems, including API and microservices integrations, data migration, and modernisation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, compliance standards, and transformation roadmaps.
- Define and maintain enterprise and solution architectures for insurance systems (policy, billing, claims, underwriting) in line with business goals and transformation initiatives.
- Create “as‑is” and “to‑be” architectures and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategic vision.
- Govern architectural standards, principles, and policies via setting up and chairing architecture review boards.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to synchronise technology roadmaps with insurance product offerings and compliance standards.
- Architect API‑first and microservices‑based integration solutions, connecting policy, billing, and claims platforms (e.g. Guidewire) with internal and external systems.
- Oversee implementation of Guidewire Edge APIs, GX Models, Messaging Framework, and Integration Gateway.
- Lead data migration and legacy modernisation efforts, ensuring seamless transformation to modern insurance platforms.
