We are seeking a high‑performing and commercially driven Vice President to join a leading global investment bank's Technology / Software Investment Banking team in London.

This role offers exposure to high-profile, cross-border transactions within a well-established platform, with a strong track record advising across enterprise software, SaaS, fintech, and broader technology-enabled businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of M&A, minority investments, and capital-raising transactions across the Software and broader Technology sector
  • Take primary responsibility for managing transaction processes, including overseeing due diligence, coordinating advisors, and serving as a key point of contact for clients, investors, and counterparties
  • Develop and review detailed financial models and valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, and LBO analysis where relevant
  • Drive the preparation and delivery of high-quality client materials, including pitch books, information memoranda, and management presentations
  • Contribute actively to origination efforts, supporting client coverage, developing relationships, and generating differentiated strategic ideas across key software sub-sectors
  • Maintain strong relationships with corporates, private equity sponsors, and financial investors active in the technology space
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, overseeing Analysts and Associates to ensure high standards of execution
  • Work closely with senior leadership to support sector strategy and franchise growth across London and the broader European platform

Requirements

  • Experience: 6‑8+ years of investment banking or financial advisory experience, with meaningful exposure to Technology / Software transactions
  • Technical Skills: Strong financial modelling and valuation expertise, with the ability to review and guide complex analyses
  • Sector Expertise: Demonstrated understanding of software and technology subsectors, including SaaS, enterprise software, and tech‑enabled services, alongside key industry trends such as recurring revenue models and digital transformation
  • Execution Leadership: Proven ability to lead transactions and manage multiple workstreams in parallel under tight timelines
  • Client Management: Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including corporate executives, founders, and private equity investors
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Commercial Judgement: Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to develop strategic insights
  • International Exposure: Experience working on cross‑border transactions and collaborating with international teams is advantageous
