Job Summary
Responsible for the profitable acquisition and retention of Group Life, Group Income Protection and Group Critical Illness schemes, ensuring underwriting metrics and guidelines are adhered to and quotations align with Group strategy.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate sub‑100 life corporate risks using set rules of allowable adjustments and personal judgement to process quotations in line with agreed company and customer service standards.
- Resolve customer queries and problems in a timely and efficient manner, identifying customer dissatisfaction and recording it in line with the regulatory complaint process.
- Negotiate Canada Life’s rates and terms with IFA’s to improve competitive position and maximise opportunity to write and retain business.
- Participate in the continuous review and improvement of department processes and procedures to ensure timely, accurate and efficient service.

- Ability to work in a customer deadline‑driven environment.
- Knowledge to handle sensitive data appropriately.
