This is an opportunity to join one of the largest and most active investors into the UK Lower Mid-Market. The business has been a consistent investor across the UK combining a regional model and strong sector knowledge which has led to a track record of success. This role gives an ambitious individual the scope to leverage their skills, establish themselves and build a market in one of the most well-respected and multi-award-winning lower mid-market investors in the UK. It is now looking to grow its team across the South East of England with multiple hires. The roles available are at the Investment Manager and Investment Director levels, based across the region (Reading, Guilford, Brighton, Sevenoaks).

What the job involves:

  • Work on all aspects of the transaction process from origination, deal structuring, negotiation, execution, and portfolio management.
  • Involvement with all of the investment products across the group, and assist in fundraising when required.
  • Make investment decisions with a high degree of autonomy, and assist other senior team members across the vehicle.

Who we are looking for:

  • Experience in transaction services, corporate finance, or M&A, either from a top accountancy firm, investment bank, or private equity firm.
  • Strong financial, analytical and commercial skills.
  • Ambition and drive for investments into the UK lower mid-market, with a forward-thinking approach for their success.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
