I'm working with a leading global insurance organisation looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their London finance team. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate books and records, supporting both internal and external reporting requirements, and upholding a strong financial control framework.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review journals, reconciliations, and financial reports
  • Deliver accurate month-end and financial reporting activities
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Maintain and enhance financial controls and SOX compliance
  • Assist with internal and external audit requirements
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance and the wider business
  • Support finance transformation and systems implementation projects
  • Analyse financial data and provide meaningful business insights

Requirements

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
  • Strong accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Insurance, Lloyd's, or London Market experience preferred
  • US GAAP exposure advantageous
  • FP&A experience beneficial
  • Experience with finance systems and transformation projects
