We are supporting a large, asset‑intensive organisation undergoing a significant transformation of its enterprise asset management landscape. This role sits at the intersection of business operations and technology, with ownership of how CMMS/EAM capabilities are designed, optimised, and scaled across a global environment. The successful individual will act as a senior functional lead for IFS‑based asset management solutions, driving continuous improvement, governance, and long‑term value from the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of enterprise CMMS/EAM capabilities, with a focus on maintenance execution, asset structures, and preventative maintenance strategies.
- Lead optimisation initiatives across planning, scheduling, and resource utilisation to improve operational efficiency and asset reliability.
- Shape solution design and contribute to the longer‑term roadmap for IFS‑based asset management platforms.
- Ensure best‑practice configuration, governance, and alignment with business processes.
- Work closely with technical teams and partners to support integrations with surrounding systems (e.g. inventory, finance, project costing).
- Use asset and maintenance data to support forecasting, performance analysis, and decision‑making.
- Partner with stakeholders across operations, engineering, asset management, and IT to drive adoption and process improvement.
- Provide leadership across initiatives, supporting problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Experience & Background
- Strong professional experience in Enterprise Asset Management / CMMS roles.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with IFS Apps 10 and/or IFS Cloud, particularly within EAM modules.
- Proven involvement in end‑to‑end implementations, rollouts, or major optimisation programmes.
- Background within asset‑intensive industries such as logistics, manufacturing, energy, utilities, maritime, or similar.
- Experience operating in complex, global environments with multiple stakeholders.
- Prior leadership of workstreams, projects, or functional teams.
- IFS certification is advantageous but not essential.
