So, if you want to be bold in the pursuit of your ambitions, bring new ideas, and challenge and evolve what we do, it\’s the perfect time to join us! About the Role Level: 5 Department: Human Resources Location: London or Southampton Contract: Permanent The regulatory landscape in Financial Services has grown increasingly complex since the 2008 Financial Crisis. Within the wealth management sector, we\’ve experienced significant changes, from the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) in 2012 to, in more recent years, the implementation of new prudential regimes for investment firms in the UK and Europe, the introduction of the Consumer Duty in the UK, MiFID II and updates to AIFM and UCITS regulations. Looking ahead, the Advice Guidance Boundary Review (AGBR) will bring further transformative change to the industry and has the potential to help close the advice gap in the UK. The impact of these regulations on remuneration policy and practice can be challenging to navigate. It requires strong technical knowledge of the various regulatory requirements and a sound understanding of the business and its activities. This will include an understanding of the Group governance structure, profile of material risks and implementation of the Senior Manager and Certification Regime (SMCR) and how it interacts with remuneration regulations. This role will help to shape overarching policy, governance and best practice in respect of remuneration regulations as well as manage the day-to-day activities required to meet our compliance obligations both at a solo-entity level and a consolidated Group level.
